PREPARATION:
1. Select bright-red, lean, corded dried beef, wash, and roast until done.
Next, pound the beef to separate the fibers and then tear into shreds.
2. Heat the coconut milk in a wok, add the beef, and stir with a spatula. Taste,
and if desired, add salt and sugar.
3. When the coconut milk has thickened and coats the meat nicely, add the shallots,
stir to mix everything together, and then remove from the heat.
