Stuffed Pork with Taro Fillings Dessert Recipe (Phueak Haw Khai Khem Moo Sap)

PREPARATION:
1. Finely pound the garlic, coriander roots and pepper into a paste (using a pestle and mortar). Mix the paste with minced pork; knead well. Divide the pork mixture into 5 equal portions.

2. Knead the mashed taro with sugar salt and 2 tbsp wheat flour then divide into 5 portions.

3. Wrap each salted egg yolk with the mashed taro round, pressing the edges firmly together so that the egg yolk is completely enclosed. Wrap each ball again with a layer of pork mixture. Continue until finished.

4. Preheat the oil over medium heat Roll the pork balls in wheat flour to coat, dip in the beaten eggs and roll in breadcrumbs as a final coating.

Deep-fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through. Remove and drain. 5. Transfer to arrange on a serving dish. Best when served with sweet chili sauce.
